Rabbi Mark Chism holds a copy of the Torah, the first five books of the Jewish (and Christian) holy text, at the Kehelat Ha Tsharah (loosely translated from Hebrew as Affirmation Assembly) in Grand Island while standing behind a menorah that is used to help celebrate the eight days of Hanukkah, which began on Dec. 25.
