As a table host at St. Pauls Lutheran Church annual Christmas dinner, Kris Adler, of Omaha, laughs while serving drinks to guests. Kris was in town visiting her parents, Doug and Linda Adler, and decided to help out at the event. The Adlers were part of nearly a third of volunteers who helped during the meal but aren't members of the church.
