Independent/Barrett Stinson

To help families with parents in Iraq, 25 Walnut Middle School students volunteered for free baby-sitting duty on Saturday to give other family members time for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Along with playing games and having their picture taken, kids were also able to make cookies to take home for their parents while eating a few like Travis Meyer, 2, (right) and Walnut student Zandra Cole, 12. MeyerŐs father is currently serving in the Army in Iraq.
