Independent/Lane Hickenbottom J.J. Chmelka works on Marilyn LahowetzÕs hair Wednesday at JJÕs Salon, located at 1405 W. Charles St. Chmelka owns the building and rents space to other independent contractors who operate their own hair businesses at the salon.
