Independent/Lane Hickenbottom Katie Laroe picks up a tub of some of the 250 pounds of freshly peeled potatoes Tuesday night during a peeling party at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. A few dozen volunteers spent only 29 minutes peeling the potatoesÑone minute faster than last yearÑwhich will be served for St. PaulÕs third annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner that is free to the public.
