Lane Hickenbottom

Independent/Lane Hickenbottom 1 Sixteen-year-old Nick Karn warms up to a burn barrel placed in the parking lot of St. MaryÕs Cathedral Friday night where about 50 youth and 20 adults participated in a poverty simulation for Homeless Awareness week. Many of the participants spent the night there in cardboard box shelters.
