Independent/Barrett Stinson

Ken Wortman visits with a nurse in the clinic area of AuroraÕs Memorial Hospital in January of 2001. Wortman, a longtime Aurora businessman, was on the original board of directors that planned and built Memorial Hospital. He remained on the board until his death in 2004, spending 33 years as the president. A new 13,000-square-foot surgury center at the Memorial Hospital will be named after Wortman.
