As construction workers work behind him, the Rev. Jorge Santamaria stands on the new cement porch of his office next to the Cristo Cordero de Dios Lutheran Church in Grand Island. Renovation on the church continues, including raising the ground level behind Santamaria and building a path to his office and the church to provide handicapped accessibility.
