A Grand Island firefighter sprays water on the roof of a mobile home that caught fire on the corner of Cherokee Avenue and Old Potash Highway in Grand Island on Friday afternoon. The fire spread to a detached garage north of the home. Two dogs died in the blaze, which left the home and the garage a total loss.
