"Wave 'em high," shouted Jim Boroff to students waving flags outside the Grand Island Veterans Home during last year's parade. Boroff, a member of the Alda/Wood River VFW and Korean War Veteran was riding through the parade. This year's parade will be on Thursday Nov. 10 to avoid conflicting with state volleyball.
