Lane Hickenbottom

Independent/Lane Hickenbottom Karen Hancock feeds her chickens, including Rocky, Wednesday at her farm on the eastern edge of Grand Island. Hancock, who has rescued chickens taken to the Central Nebraska Humane Society, said the new chicken ban unfairly lumps all Grand Island residents in one group.
