Independent/Scott Kingsley The scaffolding surrounding the Hamilton County Courthouse in Aurora is evidence of a $700,000 roofing project that should be completed this summer. Work is expected to take place around the rest of the downtown area next summer, to put in a new drainage system, replace sidewalks and curbs and redo parking. Antique-style lights like the ones seen here will be added around the downtown businesses as well, to match the ones in the courthouse square. aurora01 Want a reprint of this photo?
