Independent/Gerik Parmele

Andy Gallagher demonstrates the firing of his weapon for students at Barr Middle School Tuesday afternoon. Over 200 eighth-graders learned from the Civil War re-enactors. The students have been studying American history though the Reconstruction period following the Civil War.
