Independent/Barrett Stinson

As floodwaters recede, itÕs neighbor helping neighbor on Utah Avenue in northwest Grand Island Saturday morning, as Joe Urbanec, left, helps Roger Bruce, right, move sandbags from his home to the bucket of a compact wheel loader driven by Dan Anderson. Many of AndersonÕs neighbors are grateful for his help and access to New Holland construction equipment that might have saved their homes from more serious damage.
