After WednesdayÕs Mass of Christian Burial for Pope John Paul II at St. MaryÕs Cathedral, Edel Patterson kneels down on the altar steps to pray in front of a photograph of the deceased pope. Patterson was in Grand Island visiting friends while traveling from Ireland.
