Ray Abel surveys the damage to a pine tree near where a strong gust of wind uprooted a large tree between 5-5:30 p.m. Sunday that fell on his home at 1021 W. John Street in Grand Island. Able reported minor damage to his property. The National Weather Service reported that wind gusted up to 44 miles per hour in Grand Island during the time the tree fell.
