Children surround the drop area Saturday morning as the St. Francis Medical Center Foundation kicks off its fourth annual Ticket to Ride by dropping hundreds of soft toys from a cement pouring bucket attached to the tower crane being used to construct the new St. Francis Medical Center Tower. The Ticket to Ride raffle raises money for a variety of programs that help the community including the Student Wellness Center at Grand Island Senior High, Project Care, Tri-City Safe Kids, and the hospice program. Up to 999 tickets will be sold at $100 apiece for the fundraiser with the grand prize being a choice between one of five vehicles or one of two boats, a motorcycle or $15,000 in cash.
