Independent/Lane Hickenbottom

Independent/Lane Hickenbottom 1 Bruce Switzer stands downhill from a school bus-converted into a bird blind on his ranch Thursday morning after taking a group of people to see male sage grouse perform for mating rights. The Switzer Ranch, which has been a cattle operation for four generations in the Nebraska Sandhills, is the home of Calamus Outfitters, which specializes in ecotourism.
