Independent/Scott Kingsley

James Carter, 80, of Grand Island, is attended to by Grand Island rescue personnel after he was hit by a F150 at Heddy and Eddy Streets. Carter was taken to St. Francis Medical Center where he was treated for a head injury and a broken knee.
