Independent/Lane Hickenbottom 1 Eight-year-old Carley Benson tries on a bicycle helmet Tuesday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Diers Avenue. Carley was hit by a car while riding her bike last September, and has become a young proponent of helmet use.
