Grand Island artist Nancy Fairbanks looks over the progress St. Paul fourth-graders, including Jacob Swenson (left) and Jorie Mudloff (right), have made on their clay paint pots. The pots are replicas of a piece of Pawnee pottery that dates back 2006 years.
