Ashton farmer Daniel Hurt stands with some of the livestock on his farm. Hurt has been farming organically for the last 35 years and has been certified organic for the past 17 years. He was recently named Outstanding Organic Farmer of the Year Award by the Nebraska Chapter #1 Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA).
