Independent/Barrett Stinson

ThereÕs a new place for cats and dogs in the Kearney area to live and play while waiting to be adopted. Cheryl Morris plays with a Boston terrier named Gidget, while the dogÕs father, Cody, watches in the new Kearney Area Humane Society building. Morris and her husband, Scott Morris, donated the money for the new building, which is set to open this week.
