Melissa Woitalewicz (second from left) and Eva Heminger take part in the dedication ceremony for the new Wood River Fire Hall, along with their children (from left) Ryan, 6, and Matthew Woitalewicz, 11, and Lindsay, 13, and Jon Heminger, 14. The memories of Bob Heminger and Kenny Woitalewicz, who lost their lives two years ago this month after trying to rescue an elderly woman in a house fire, were very present during the dedication ceremony.
