"The Word Wall" is seen behind Walnut Middle School's English teacher Brandy Reutzel, as she listens to students give group presentations about in class reading assignments. Reutzel says her class adds items to the wall regularly and that it helps in word study and building vocabulary. The wall is also used to reinforce ideas and good writing skills. Walnut met all 26 of its Adequate Yearly Progress marks in the most recently released numbers.
