Independent/Barrett Stinson

The city of Grand Island is concerned about the proximity of Smoker FriendlyÕs drive-through window to Highway 30. The window is 45 feet from the road instead of the 100 feet outlined in city standards. The issue has been raised because of the storeÕs desire to add liquor sales, which the city thinks will add traffic, even though liquor sales cannot be conducted through a drive-through window in Nebraska.
