A Grand Island man accused of killing his girlfriend's infant daughter waived his preliminary hearing in Hall County Court this morning.
Christopher M. Klein, 21, 119 W. 11th St., is charged with manslaughter for the Feb. 19 death of 7-week-old Caitlynne Bohlen.
Authorities said shortly after Klein's arrest that he had given the baby a pacifier, wrapped a blanket around her head and squeezed her against the side of her bassinet with a pillow.
Klein said he learned the technique from the baby's mother, 19-year-old Tiffany A. Bohlen, who is also charged with manslaughter.
Klein is scheduled to appear in Hall County District Court at 9 a.m. May 6.
