GPAC baseball tournament moved to Hastings

Because of the forecasted inclement weather and already saturated fields in Sioux Falls, S.D. at Harmodon Park, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is moving the 2008 GPAC Baseball Tournament to Hastings.


The tournament will be played at Duncan Field and Smith Complex. The schedule has been revised to accommodate the two-field format.

Day One - Thursday, May 1, 2008
(Games 1-8, All games seven innings with 10-run rule in games 1-4 and 7,8)

at Duncan Field, 9 a.m.

Game 2
at Smith Complex, 9 a.m.
(2) Briar Cliff (16-8) vs. (7) Sioux Falls (12-12)

at Duncan Field, noon
(4) Midland Lutheran (14-10) vs.(5) Dakota Wesleyan (14-10)


Game 4
at Smith Complex, noon
(3) Morningside (15-9) vs. (6) Nebraska Wesleyan (13-11)
